Pass coded lines provide a higher level of security at little or no extra cost to non-pass coded lines. The downside is that participants must have both the telephone access number as well as the pass code to join the call. Be smart – assign a specific contact person whom participants can call when they have misplaced the access number and pass code. If you have the slightest concern around confidentiality or uninvited visitors, use pass coded lines.
